Where to find your views
On TikTok, on your profile, over each thumbnail. On Instagram, in the Reels tab of your profile. Copy them as they appear, K and all.
Type the views of your latest videos and your new one. You'll see whether it's above or below what your account usually gets.
Your numbers are saved only in this browser.
How it works
The same rules Hop uses to compare every video in the app.
On TikTok, on your profile, over each thumbnail. On Instagram, in the Reels tab of your profile. Copy them as they appear, K and all.
What a video of yours usually gets once it has done most of its run: the median of your videos older than 3 days. Each video is measured against your account, not anyone else's.
When one video takes off, the mean jumps with it. The median is the video in the middle: with 800, 900, 1,000, 1,100 and 20,000 views, the mean is 4,760 and the median 1,000, much closer to usual.
Each platform shows your videos to different people and counts views its own way. Mix them and the number fits neither.
Promoted posts, because some of their views were paid for; Trial Reels, which go to people who don't follow you; and versions of the same video.
A video adds views for days, so at 6 hours it nearly always looks like it's failing. Hop saves views hour by hour and compares against what your videos had at that age; the calculator has no such history, so it waits for 72 hours.
